A Ryle High School teacher is putting his creativity to work to support the Matthew Mangine Jr. “One Shot” Foundation. Ryan Ware, owner of Ware Bear Hat Co., created special-edition hats for the Ryle-Cooper “Battle of Union” football game, with proceeds from sales benefiting the Foundation.

Ryan’s involvement with One Shot began after he participated in one of our training courses, an experience that inspired him to become more aware of cardiac emergency preparedness and the location of AEDs at athletic facilities. He’s since become a passionate advocate for Take 10 and an important part of our efforts to expand the program at Ryle and throughout Boone County Schools.

We are incredibly grateful to Ryan for finding his own unique way to support our mission—and to WCPO 9 for sharing his story with the community.
